Swine flu vaccine for under 5's....

Ive been discussing this too with my hubbie tonight as I have 2 under 5's. Will probably get them done even though I hate the thought of the vaccine swimming around their little bodies! :(
Better than them being really ill though.

My oh had his last friday and said that his arm hurt so much afterwards, felt dead etc (maybe he's just a wuss?) He said if he felt like that how would our lo's feel?
He also just found out yesterday that they were guinea pigs for a new batch so don't even know if their jab will protect them!

I am torn too. Both mine are under 5, my youngest is under 1. Watching the news just now I am swaying towards givng it to my 4 year old as she interacts with kids at school, I may hold off on my baby.

Still not 100%.

Don't experts use internet sites? Theres all walks of life on this place.....vets, Drs, teachers etc....like i said i asked for advise, i didn't ask for decision making.

i have a 4 year old and a 20 month old. I will not be getting mine done. we know nothing much about the jab and i am not letting them have that kind of stuff floating round there little bodies.

I was offered the jab last week (cos of asthma) & i declined it, my youngest is 5 and i won't be sending him off either... That's not based on any professional judgement, purely my choice as a parent who doesn't get worried by the scaremongering news reports.

It is FLU. Swine flu is less harmful by far than "normal flu", and have they been vaccinated against that? I don't think so! People need to man up! Stop pumping your body full of drugs!
