I have one of these in the car - great for all things charging whilst on the move. Invaluable for the kids gadgets! The great things about this one, it stays neatly in your cup holder.

They also have versions with usb chargers on them too. 7dayshop.com/cat…964 (£10.79) or the flat no cup holder version with usb (at the same price as the one advertised). 7dayshop.com/cat…637

Another excellent idea from Ring Automotive. Turns your single lighter socket into 3 and neatly fits in vehicles cup-holder. Perfect for when you need more charging options whilst on the move / in your car truck / caravan etc.
Features a useful battery analyser to check the vehicles remaining charge and to help you ensure that it still has power left to start the vehicle.

Vehicles have only a limited number of 12v sockets. Power point resources are increasingly stretched with the increased use of satellite navigation systems radar devices DVD players and mobile phones to name but a few.
Ring Automotive offers a multi socket range to meet this demand with superior quality design and functionality in line with the high value devices plugged into them. This is a premium quality triple cigarette lighter socket which is 10amp. The adapter is can shaped which makes it perfect to fit into your cars drink holder. It plugs straight into your 12v DC cigarette lighter socket and enables you to use 3 12v accessories at once. A battery analyser is fitted into the triple socket adapter. The battery analyser shows you how healthy your cars battery is. The socket also features a width adjusting fitment collar 3 guide light rings mounting arms and coiled cable.

Looks like a handy bit of kit, from a reliable and respected seller.
One thing, though, I'm not sure that many car cigarette lighter sockets ("accessory sockets" if the lawyers are looking) have a fuse rated at 10 amps. So although this might take 2 or 3 devices pulling a high current, the car's onboard fuse may not!
    Heat added anyway.

none of these multi plug adapters are designed for high drains.
poundland do some with 3 or 4 sockets for a quid.
    cold from me sorry

I have one of these and can confirm that I use it for my phone and sat nav and it works great.
    Great price.

While it's definitely a good deal, I find mine a pain in the bum.
    Think of the cables:
1 from cigarette tray in centre dash past your gear-stick.
1 from this to ipod...in turn connecting to AUX port in dashboard
    1 for mobile phone.
    1 for sat nav

So you've got 5 cables stringing around your gear-stick and hand-brake.
It's useful, it's thought out and all that - but in practice, it's a pain. And probably very dangerous.
Then again having 3 electronic gadgets on the go is probably dangerous full stop.

I'm probably going to go for a really short one with 2 usb sockets, and just accept I'll have less charging at a time. At least it'll keep the cables away from my gear-stick.

I had one of the cheap ones from Maplin and it fell apart after a year of medium use. I hope these are built better. The USB is a handy feature too.
