Rather confuse because in 24-7 electricals the same tv is 200 pounds higher:

but in 24-7 it says the tv is 1080p whilst in littlewoods it is 768.

I really quite like to buy this plasma if it is 1080p. Do you think the littlewoods tv is 1080p?

For this price, it is never a 1080p.

maybe true but 24-7 are normally quite cheap and for them to sell the same model for 1499 suggests that it is possible that the display could be 1080p. Especially since you can quite easily get 768p plasma displays from major brands for under £1200.

Again, the opinion on AVForum is that the 1080P reference is an error and that the set simply accepts a 1080P signal but cannot display it at full resolution.

do you think this is a better buy than a:

http://www.247electrical.co.uk/epage...d=43in_56in_hd

when it comes to playing 1080p blu-ray disks/ps3 games that output to 1080p?

Thanks in advance
