Just picked up 2 huge sides of salmon for £8 and cut them up to make 4 separate meals (freeze some). Great if you love salmon or are on a tight budget. And great brain food for kids

£4 per KG of salmon is amazing value. Salmon is ultra easy to cook (cut it into 2inch steaks and poach it in water or stock for about 10 mins, or steam it for about the same time, or grill it, bake it or shallow fry it for about 15 mins), serve it with pasta and a slice of lemon and you've got a nutritious, yummy, easy meal. Failing that, go to www.bbc.co.uk and search for recipes; those from Saturday Kitchen or Ready Steady Cook will be quick and easy.

Tesco are doing some offer or other on whole salmon that I saw on tv a few days ago, half price, BOGOF or something, it's not on the website though as I just checked, may be worth a look instore or keeping an eye on the telly.
