I thought it was a discount rather than a rebate (i.e. dicount £10 from final price rather than charge you full price & rebate £10). Good deal though, voted hot.

Sorry, my mistake. I've changed the thread title - could a mod change the post too please?

I hate Iomega I remember the Iomega tape system, ok it was rubbish in the end but what upset me was the customer care was non-existant! it's a cold from me..

Can't believe I bought one three weeks ago for £99.99 from Comet. Thought that was a good deal too.

Ah well. By the time I need another they will be as cheap as 40GB drives now.

Decent drive too. Vibrates a bit and I would advise keep it upright on its stand, as displayed to keep heat down.

I did exactly the same thing two weeks ago for keeping all my downloads and stuff on, if only I'd waited I could have saved £22 :(

Nice deal.
I bought the Freecom 500gb one with 16mb Cache (will be getting delivered tomorrow). It cost £82.00 with delivery. I hear it comes with a WD branded drive inside - not a bad deal too!
