btw if you are with O2 - choose O2 WAP connection on the test rather than O2 Mobile Web or it will fail

The offer is open to the first 20,000 new registrations between 1st April to 30th June 2007. Mobile Banking is only available to current account customers (not available to Basic Cash or Basic Banking accounts). In the case of joint accounts only one £10 credit will be made. If a customer also registers for Mobile Banking with another bank that is participating in the offer with MONILINK™, then only one £10 credit will be made to the first account registered.

You may think that I am paranoid but here or the details of how to get to the deal under your own steam, without following a link (this should enable the people that have a slight doubt about the link to go for it).
Go on to the Alliance & Leicester website, current accounts, to the RHS there is an Information Centre click on the mobile banking. Would love to get a freebie from my bank but my phone was an unlocked Vodaphone and it is has never been sold by Orange so cannot get it configured correctly

You can phone them and ask them to send you the WAP settings by text. Alternatively you could try the manufacturers website, I know SE have an automated system.
