Use google checkout from empire direct and you could get it as low as £1014 using the above. (£10 off £30 purchase)

TO be honest Samsung are pretty widely considered the best LCD makers in the business (they make the screens for Sony, and Sonys are waaaay more expensive).

But check out reviews to be sure.
Th AV forums are a good place ( http://avreviews.avforums.com/index.php ), go to the bottom of that link and select the options to find either LCD.

Im veeery interested in this Samsung though. Its a beaut, its massive and it does 1080p!

Well mine arrives on Saturday, and I can 't wait, I've read the reviews and opinions over on avforums etc and it gets a great review on hdtvtest, so I eventually decided to take the plunge - I hope it's worth it

Cant find it on Dixons at that price, comes up as £1,074.99 for me (LE40M86BD).
