Threshers Group 'The Local' cheap Fosters + free bottles of fosters TWIST!!!

STARTS: 17/05/2007   

First Post.... Had to share this with everyone.

Just been to 'the local' which is a Threshers group off-license to find an offer on Fosters lager (8x440ml) Offer as listed on the web site is £9.99 for two... so 16 cans total.

Not that good I hear you say.

Then I spotted 4x330ml bottles of Fosters TWIST in the fridge with a large 'FREE' sticker. Closer inspection revealed them to be free with every purchase of 8x Fosters (440ml).

Surely not to be used in conjunction with any other offer... but no. I walked away with 16 cans and 8 bottles for a tenner! Not bad at all I thought.

(For those who don't know - Fosters twist is a new lager with a hint of citrus. Something for the ladies!!! Everyone's a winner ;-) Retails usually 4 quid+ per pack of 4 bottles)

Sadly I will never use my local Threshers due to there lack of customer training & the non ability of the senior management ! I do appreciate your posting efforts despite my rant.

Firstly thanks Nitro! I'll keep lookout for more deals!

I am sorry for your misadventures in booze buyin' experienced at the aforesaid. Perhaps 1 more trip to take advantage of their 'double deal'? But that said... I don't think there'll be many Barbies for a while with the weather 'n' all.

LOL,If you could see my local Threshers in leafy Surrey (It is still boarded up after last weeks ramraid,still no stock! you would laugh) Your efforts to post a deal are greatly appreciated by me, and others & I think that we all know just how difficult it is to find a new deal. Keep up the good workRep. added.

BUT

theres a reason their giving forsters twist away free
it tastes like dishwater

got some when it came out co s i liked the advert
drew yer cheeks together better than 10 grapefruits
and by half way throguh second bottle felt like ya had eaten about 35 creme eggs

Had a weekend away and tried one of the aforesaid. I'd like to add that it's not bad for a freebie. I'll leave it at that however..............
