LG 50PC55 - Plasma 50 inch 16:9 Hd Ready £1119 with 3yr warranty HDMI 1.3 1080p input (not output)

Does this mean i can set my ps3 to output 1080p then plug it in to this tv via HDMI and this tv will scale it automatically to 768p and that this result would mean a better picture than just setting my ps3 to output 768p would do ?

not sure picture would be better but you can set your output to 1080p with your ps3. i did this with my ps3 and the picture was great.

Hmmm.. WHy are people voting this COLD?? this is by far the cheapest HDMI 1.3 50 inch plasma which can input 1080p with a 3 year warranty. This plamsa only came out last month and is the latest plamsa by LG. Furthermore it is at least 300 pounds cheaper than any other retailer with same 3yr warranty.

The TV does not display at 1080P by the way.

So should still be hot, not cold.
