WD MyBook Pro 250Gb £66.67 (Google Checkout) Delivered @ ebuyer

£66.67

FOUND BY: Bejeezus 2 years, 5 months ago

I've noticed a few of the other WD Mybook deals on HUKD, but this one looks like its been overlooked.

The BIG advantage of this version over the other MyBooks' is the triple interface ie USB2, Firewire 400 and Firewire 800 meaning that I can use this on pretty much with any PC or Mac combination...

BTW Firewire is also known as IE 1394 and iLink by Sony etc...

FYI this was selling for approx £200 last Christmas.

I'm not overly keen on Ebuyer if the truth be told but the Google Checkout thing has swayed me a few times recently.. Just make sure that the delivery address. post code etc are correct or all hell lets loose ;)

May be tripple interface but its not a good price. I got a 500gb seagate external from play for 69 a month ago. If you really want to be connection friendly why not just buy a caddy for 10 quid and put in a normal sata hard drive?

This is a good price for a triple interface one.

Ad arm: Where can you get a 3.5" triple interface caddy for £10?

Voted hot.

Have you seen one for £10? If so, could you let me know where?

Ad Arm: for the record I wasn't comparing the price with all other available drives.

Dual interface drives let alone triple interface drives (which include the newer Firewire 800) are pretty rare and hence always more expensive which is why I feel this is such a good deal! (I actually bought 2 btw)

If you've seen a triple interface including (Firewire 800) for £10 please let me know I'll certainly vote it HOT!

Oranges and Lemons...

Voted HOT, Triple interface isn't cheap and £66 is a bargain, the only other main supplier of Triple interface drives is Lacie and I would love to see some T3 drives from them for £66.

Damn USB2.0 Jockeys don't appreciate a good deal when they see one.
