4% Cashback credit card for first 3 months then 1% thereafter

378°

FOUND BY: vickyo 2 years, 5 months ago

I thought that this was a great deal - the best on the market as far as I know... BTW cashback is paid back to you once a year, every January.

Earn a huge 4 % on all purchases for the first 3 months
Plus you'll continue to earn 1% Cashback on all purchases after the first 3 months
No catches - you'll get Cashback on every purchase you make

Plus you can choose from 8 different designs of card.

Many thanks - applied and approved. My previous Conran card no longer gives cashback - so this is most welcome.

Good deal, doesn't appear to have a limit on cashback either!

Voted HOT. I take it theres no anual fee, like Morgan Stanley have now introduced.

Not happy with them so think I'll be going over to these.

Re Morgan Stanley??

I use them, and get cashback. I find them very good.. Now.

What is this, re yearly fee???? Have not have any mailings.
And how much is the current MS cashback?? 0.5%?

Can you get a C 1 card with quidco??

Check your account mate, they introduced a £20 anual fee last month on their gold/platinum card, which is the cashback account. I checked my statement after I noticed the charge which stated they were gonna charge me this, not happy tho as I do my banking online so dont really check statements, just file them.

Yes they have been great for me in the last 2.5 years, usually get about £40 cahsback a year but Im not prepared to pay that fee. Gonna be ringing them to cancel card and I want that fee refunded.

EDIT: yes its 0.5% cashback (less now with the fee).

This thread got me searching. Found a good deal with American Express which works out better in the long term.

3% cashback for 1st 3 months, 1.5% there after. Not sure how good they are tho, plus I prefer a Mastercard?

http://www.americanexpress.com/campa...2647d3cc095ab8

Any thoughts ppl?

Not quite 1.5% thereafter, read the small print:

0.5% for aggregate amounts up to £3,500; and 1% for aggregate amounts from £3,501 to £10,000; and 1.5% for aggregate amounts in excess of £10,001.

Unless you're spending vast amounts on the card, for most people it will average out at 1% over the year. Got the card myself for the 3% offer, but of course not everywhere accepts it. The Capital One offer looks very good... just looking for the downsides, but can't see any.

Ah thanks for reading the small print (I didnt), I knew there had to be a catch. Capital 1 is a winner then.

I just want it for the pink pig card, looks well funky!!!
