Now ANYONE can be an animal! (Core plans are to be scrapped)

STARTS: 21/06/2007   

Orange have found core plans are having a negative effect on customers oppinion of the network and therefore are to be scrapped!.
Any existing customer wishing to move to an animal plan will no longer need to be in the last 3 months of their contract they dont need to upgrade or agree to a longer contract with the network and can instead from 21st of June migrate to an animal plan!!

Great news all round!

Only conditions are: If the customer is on a web only tariff they need to speak to customer services and migrate to a web animal.
If they are on a standard/retail package they need will migrate to retail based animal.

Please note these changes dont take effect until tomorrow, i will keep you posted if there are any changes to this date.

**DUCKY ADDS:
If you are on a cashback offer then make sure you ring the RETAILER to check their stance on this. It is likely that you will lose any planned cashback if you do switch tariff!!**

Please dont vote cold juse cause you dont like Orange!
For existing customers this is fantastic news!

ALOT of people can save ALOT of money on these plans, ie unlimted texts

I understand what your saying but i cant think of any customers that would be affected by this.
Animal plans started 18 months ago, any customers getting cash back will already be on this plan.
This will effect customers with plans older than 18 months old.
Ie customers on Talk 200 (Core 30) £30 for 200 mins

Its also worth noting you will move onto an animal plan which equivelant to your current contract term (ie your in a 12 month contract you get 12, your in 18 you get an 18 plan)

What I'm saying is that you can move from an animal plan to an animal plan. If you move from a £35 plan to a £30 one during your 12 month contract then that WILL cause problems with the retailers. But for some even just the name change will as they may lose their commission.

If your not a texter how about racoon £35 for 700 mins any net any time, + 100 texts + unlimted calls to landlines+choose a orange number to call unlimted
Gotta be a good deal for anyone paying £30 for 200 mins by itself

Canara 40 for the Everday 50 lovers thats bills seem to sky rocket! Unnlimted calls to ANY Orange ANY time of day, also 200 texts and 800XNet mins
