EXPIRED - 700 Tesco Clubcard Points For Free - Telephone Only

428°

FOUND BY: badgerharris 1 year, 4 months ago

At the moment, if you call Tesco Car Insurance and Tesco Health Insurance you will get free points just for getting a quote - no obligation! Its 500 points for the car insurance quote, and 200 points for the health insurance. The points will get credited to the next statement i.e. August and best of all, there are freephone numbers for both, courtesy of saynoto0870.

For Health Insurance : 0800 707 66 33
For Car Insurance : 0800 505 555 (this is customer services but just ask to be put through to car insurance).

At the beginning of each quote, make sure they take your clubcard number. Thats £7 to spend in Tesco or £28 in deals tokens - ABSOLUTELY FREE!

I've just done the car insurance quote and was told that I did not need to give my clubcard number as the system would pick it up automatically.

Why would you feel silly? I always get more than one quote for insurance, that is when I actually need some insurance

Just done the health quote and they did need the clubcard number.

Can anyone else confirm that the clubcard number is not required for car insurance?

I phoned up... went through the 1001 questions only to find out they wouldn't insure me on my car because I'm not over 21!

Apprently I still get my points though. FYI I did have to give her my clubcard #

Added as hot/rep etc. Thanks! :D

Ive already got both - and both seemed to give best value for what I wanted. Shame there were no points at the time :( - Bet it excludes current customers!

isnt it taking the **** to ring them up and make them think you are genuinely interested in insurance, when really you just want some c-card points???

No Way! Its perfectly legit, and Im sure they half expect it. The thing is though they must be very confident of how competitive their prices are, because they are probably counting on people being "pleasantly suprised" with with quote.

And even if they were originally only calling for the points, they might change anyway!
