£499.99

This seems an ok deal for people like me who missed the boat on a core 2 duo previously I see that its only £529 at Currys, Dixons too tho. Seems to have everything that I need (tho 128 graphics isnt ideal for Vista I guess).

Can anybody else suggest if its ok? The battery life seems sound, and its only 2.75kgs..

Was in the paper today, and most stores seem to have them.

Also, if you go to the below link you can get a voucher for a 1GB Memory Boost. Not sure if thats worth doing though?

The 1GB coupon doesn't give you 2GB of RAM. It's getting you a 1GB USB key which Vista's ReadyBoost could use for disk read caching. This is only worth doing when you've got less than 1GB of RAM.

Cheers, I did do a bit of reading about it. Looks a bit gimmicky to me.

Its £529 at Curry's so surely you can pricematch for and get an extra £3 off then use the £30 off £400 spend voucher bringing the price down to £466. And 3.5% Quidco too, meaning possible a price inc Quidco of £449.69

If they pricematched, you wouldnt be able to do it online together with a discount voucher :(
The acer deal that I posted is better IMO anyway
