I know there are a lot of offers on "DVD rental by Mail" trials, but this particular one appealed to me.

Apply for one month's free trial with ODEONDIRECT, and when they send your 1st DVD they will also send 2 free Odeon cinema tickets (worth £14.80 at my local - not sure if they work in west end cinemas).
The free DVD rentals are kind of nice, but the cinema tickets are much nicer :)
I fully intend to cancel in a couple of weeks, once the goodies have arrived.
As usual I suspect this will not work for anyone who has taken up one of these offers before

My local odeon only charges £5.10 a ticket

I think they were referring to the 2 cinema tickets - incidentally, it's £6 per ticket at my local Odeon.
