if you add the included weights up it's not actually 35kg or 50kg, it's only 31.8kg and 45.2kg.

The other ones Ding posted aren't quite as described either - 26kg is really only 22.8kg and the 15kg set is only 13.6kg. Or am i just being stupid?

Still a good deal though!

trust me on this

ur better off gettin proper metal ones - these are ok i guess but 5kg on vinyl ones is alot differetn to 5kg on the metal ones. plus ur going to get better results for the same work out on the metal ones

How exactly would you get a better workout with a 5kg metal weight as opposed to a 5kg plastic weight? I don't know whether you're saying what i think you're saying, but 5kg of metal weighs the same as 5kg of feathers

Personally i have cast iron weights.

I have some cast iron dumbells but have been looking for a bar bell. The bar without weights is £13 at Tescos!

These are cheap, but rubbish. The combined weight is too light to get anything like a proper workout, and the fact the plates are so thick means you can't get much on the bar.

The bar is hollow and will snap with a decent amount on it.

If you want to play at weights then get them but don't kid yourself you're 'working out'. If you're serious avoid and get a decent cast iron set or join a gym.

I brought this a few weeks before when they had the end of catalogue sale, and the barbell bar is 1.8kg in itself, and doesnt feel like it will snap.
