Whats your point? Not a reason for voting cold

The PJ is only 854 x 480.. so its SD , not HD, tho it can downscale HD.
A good price none the less, though I would pick something which is more recognised as a home cinema projector

Great price but this projector can only show full detail with ntsc dvds or games consoles running at standard definition at 60hz ntsc speed. Any pal sources will be scaled down in detail slightly and it has no high definition functionality only the ability to downscale hd to fit its lower resolution. Lets not be negative though. Its a brilliant price for a capable projector but is most suited to someone who has a lot of import R1 DVDs. Its a DLP projector so rainbows may be an issue.

An excellent PJ got one myself, displays the XBOX 360 almost as good as other HD projectors I've seen, I thought I got a bargain at more than this and to be fair I still feel I've got a bargain at £120 more as mine was mainly for gaming and it looks better than my Samsung HDTV and 4 times the size. Grab it if you can at this price.

I ordered one of these on Thursday and got an email from Misco saying that they have sold out and wouldn't be getting any more.

HD is the new buzz word, trust me when fed with the right source, there's not a major difference on this PJ to HD ones.

Barely, not that your comment has anything to do with this thread.

I Love the complaining about it not being HD.
have you seen the price of HD projectors?
If you want to spend £8000 plus then go for it.

I own a SD NEC proj and the quality rivals that of my 37" HD LCD.

what a plum 1080p what do you know of 1080p there is only the ps3/blueray that displays at that it will be years before we see any real use of 1080p theres nothing displaying 1080i yet and dont bother saying sky+/v+ these are just scaled up from a normal SD source i expect someone with no real knowledge to say somthing like that at that price that PJ is a steal i fit PJ and high end audio visual kit in pubs and clubs all over the country and they pay a lot more than that for **** Projectors this is a bargin even if you just use it for your games console its cheaper than a cheap 22inch lcd.

I’m not in the market for one of these but the SHARP LAMP MODULE FOR SHARP XVZ10000E PROJECTOR £373.83 ex VAT £439.25 inc VAT I know you can usually find the lamps cheaper elsewhere. If not then it would be cheaper to but 2 projectors in the first place
