EXPIRED - £50 free when you deposit £1000 @ ING direct

just wondering if this would work with egg money...move £1,000 credit then move it back again...are their t&c's about how long this needs to be in the savings account etc?

I'd think so, there must be. I can't see them not covering their tracks like that.

Just to say that I think it needs to be a UK current account in t+c's here:

When you apply, you will be asked to supply a cheque for a minimum value of £1 from your UK current account as your initial deposit.

That was for their general terms and conditions, the money has to come from a cheque in your name to verify your identity (the account can normally be opened with £1). However for this promotion you have to pay a minimum of £1000 in to qualify for the £50.

Would also like to make people aware of this discussion I found on MSE: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...ing+join+%A325 seems to show that they are only targeted marketing and these offers will only apply to certain people, however their T+C's are a bit nondescript... but the CS team seem to say they will be honoring it (only time will tell) also just a note, this seems to be an ongoing offer as they have done a similar one before.

I used to have an account with them but their rates just could not keep up, maybe a good time to have an account with them again.
