It does according to the review on the Amazon website.

The technical specification on the Acer site
http://www.acer.co.uk (look for Aspire 5630 series for details on the 5633)

it says:

Bluetooth® 2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) (manufacturing option)

I think this is the standard selling price of this model. Still it's an excellent spec for the money.

But you can get it £10 cheaper from Laskys...

I do not believe this model to have built in bluetooth, although I could be wrong

I've just bought one of these and it hasn't got bluetooth function. It has a button giving the impression it does, but it isn't integrated.

Sure it's this model?

Many of the Acer's share the same chassis, but not all the functionality. We've got an Acer in the house which we knew wouldn't have Bluetooth, but has the button as it's the same shell as the model up.

Well Bluetooth adaptors aren't exactly expensive. You can pick one up in store for around £6 or online for about £3.

This is a great laptop for this price.

I just got a new one off ebay for £60 including delivery.
But the one I got had XP as opposed to Vista. But I get a free copy of Vista through Uni so will stick that on

Great laptop

vista is dire especially for mobility I wont (well until some MS forces me with compatibility issues) put it on my desktop, let alone a laptop :O

the deal is good, although I am always wary of the build quality of acers.

oh and don't expect to be doing much gaming with the inbuilt graphics, bar that it looks fine

I have been using my acer travelmate laptop every weekday for 8+ hours for 2 1/2 years and never had a problem. It doesn't just sit on a desk either, I have flown around the world with it to various meetings and conferences and it has been 100% reliable [having said that I better do a complete HDD backup ].

The key word here is ‘option’. Some manufacturer’s make it very difficult to deduce what spec you are getting which means you have to rely on website descriptions which is a lottery at times. Acer are particularly bad at this it seems. I’ve found them to be cheap for a reason as well and prefer to avoid them.
