Whilst looking around for cheap 360s I came across a nice pre-owned deal on the Gamestation website. You get a Pro (Premium) console and one of the following titles:

I found a few 2 game deals. But I personally don't care for Forza or Blue Dragon and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Here's how to turn this into a really hot deal and I know coz we did it last weekend. My son had been saving up for a 360 Premium and 2 weeks ago we bought a pre-owned one from a local store (Crawley) for £219 with 2 games and a couple of bits thrown in. I know not such a great price, but whatever. Last Saturday he got the dreaded 'red ring of death' and we packed it up and took it to our nearest store for an exchange. Here's the deal, they didn't have any pre-owned consoles in stock so had to exchange it for a brand new one, but hold on things were about to get better. The assistant then asked 'wouldn't you like to upgrade to an Elite' for another £40?' My son was trading in three old PS2 games at the same time, so I said 'How about the games and an extra tenner and we'll take an Elite?' 'Deal' the salesman replied, so we walked out with a brand new Elite for an extra £10. So buy a cheap pre-owned console then ring around other Gamestation shops, find one that doesn't have any pre-owneds for sale and return it there and try your luck.

I don't really know how/why he offered you that deal - but great for you nonetheless! Do you mind saying which store it was?
