You gotta be careful though, one lil' kid's fine but a gang of them and you'd be the next Newlove.
#4
more then that, i'd be careful for the simple fact that if you raise your hand on a kid, wether he be a thug or not, its ur ass that'll be on fire infront of the law.... oh great justice system ;)

Unfortunately this is becoming a regular occurrence.

I suggest the police get extra powers to search anybody with a hood or wearing a cap.....if your reluctant to get searched don't wear disguising headgear!

Its not worth relying on the police anymore I certainly won't, I stopped a lad who was driving dangerously whilst on his mobile recently (speeding, overtaking in a 30, obscene gestures) as his door opened he flew at me and we end up fighting on the floor then on the bonnet of my car, a witness sees the scuffle sees the youth on top of me, and i phone the police, they turn up arrest us both, off to a police station some 20 miles away, photos taken, DNA taken, fingerprints taken and I'm locked in a cell for 4 hours. End result I'm cautioned for affray (lets remember who got assaulted here!) and booted out the station to find my own way home, some 20 miles away.
Thats your British justice system!.

whoa steady on chip, I wear a cap or a hood at times to either keep my head warm in winter or cool in summer as I find it practical and low maintainence to keep it very close cropped. I also wear DM's and para boots because they are comfy and last forever and a lot of heavy silver jewellery, im also 5'11" and weigh sixteen stone.

But by your instant judgment people like you would take one look at me and think im a hooligan/chav/hoodie/thug/headcase (delete as appropriate, ive been called most of them anyway). You make instant judgements by appearances and the way someone dresses, its not the dress sense that makes a person what they are its the mentality. All of the above assumptions about me would be wrong i'm a 31 year old dad of three and family man. Although hurt my family and I would seek revenge, I dont go out looking for a fight, thieving and stealing but if trouble comes my way I give it the boot.

Would you have a problem with a "stop & search" policy?

I also sometimes wear a baseball cap.....but wouldn't have a problem with a "stop & search" policy.

At the end of the day the police ain't stupid they know who they would search if they had the powers :)

I would actually as It would be based on nothing more than appearances with no genuine reason other than that as to why they would search me. I they searched someone on the basis of their skin colour there would be hell to pay, this would be no different in real terms it would be down to how you "look". If I was acting suspiciously, in a large rowdy group or even just out really late at night then fair do's search me by all means but solely because I wore a hat or hood then no way would I submit to a stop and search. They would have to arrest and detain me first on sheer principle. What would I have to lose? The fact that my prints and DNA go on record? They already are due to former employment! a few hours in a cell? big deal!

I was thinking along the lines of groups of teens late at night.....that's the people the police would obviously target

good ole days when you send naughty kids to the doghouse. too much power to kids these days (throwing money at them without teaching them not everything comes free and you gotta earn it like everyone else) and not enough about respect.

If you get lip from a little **** you simply ask "Do you know who I am?" and if they say "no" give them a swift kick to the pills then cheese it sharpish. :p

well someone here has a theory - after this generation of kids do their 'get out their angst and violence' they will not have anything else to do that is exciting so become completely docile (soft) and take care of their parents once they get to their 30s. hehe.
