Supose its down to self discipline in a way- all the stuff I've bought through this site has not been what you would call essential, but definitely worthwhile & useful.

I do agree though, it is very tempting to buy what you see and the potential is there to spend spend spend.

Hmmm yeh sometimes. I bough a swing for my little boy and he can't use it till he's five - he is 9 months old!!

Not really no. I collect DVD box sets so I find those sort of deals on here useful to highlight any good prices. Oh and food. I don't get carried away and waste my wonga on naff 3rd world laptop substitutes

I started buying everything and anything as it was a bargain, but stopped once novelty had worn off lol...now im mostly in Misc section and look for a deal on something i want to buy only.

Yep ... but the things you buy can always be given as presents ... and the reciever always thinks you've spent more than you really have;-)

But yes self discipline is a must or a very healthy bank ballance

No, I buy as presents, items I need or cheap replacements, I think in the long run it has saved my family, friends and myself a fortune.

I generally only buy what I would have anyway, but for a better price thanks to you lovely people. Although.........I do find I tend to buy the likes of DVDs that I wouldn't have normally! :whistling:

I see them all as investments for the future, this eases my guilty conscience just fine .... :)

So it ain't all bad!!

We tend to buy things to save for christmas.
We have alot of our 2 year old chrimbo stuff already

I always look out for a cheap game thats such a cheap deal i cant pass it up.

These days i tend not to buy anything unless i can go through quidco (we have about £250 in there so far)

I tend to buy a lot for presents, trouble is some are battery powered and if they dont work at Christmas i cant send them back by then. Not all of them are easy to check because of packaging.
If i am looking to buy something then i wont settle until i find a voucher of some sort or can get cashback

I tend to buy mostly for pressies, birthdays & christmas & think overall I have saved a fortune !

I think quidco is great! honestly we pay so much in taxes it makes me sick!
and i mean taxes for everything! income, vat, stamp duty, council tax, road tax...... how much of our initial earnings do we actually retain to spend?!

about 10%

I'm usually in the freebies section, thinking " I can give that to.... for christmas' pmsl. Like thos efree dvds- I sent off one to my mom's address and one to mine so I can give them to my dad for xmas!!! Cheap? I don't think so- he left me when I was 14 and had cancer to move to Devon so I thought it would save me money!!

I have saved a fortune on this site and i don't have to worry about buying birthday / christmas presents this year as they are all stashed in my loft.
I find i can't buy anything in a shop now without thinking i could find it cheaper on hukd's.
I only buy stuff that i would be buying anyway, but much cheaper. :-D
