because of this and another dispute, i had to provide recipts/invoices for 5 items id sold and provide proof they had been delivered.......then i had to reconfirm my landline number and wait for a letter to come from omagh in usa with a code to enter in which took 20 days to arrive

3 weeks i couldnt get anything in or out of my account while sorting all that out

gives you an idea what others may have to do

What a hassle!!!, hopefully they shut their accounts down, basically it is theft (or fraud?) did you think about reporting to the Police?

If you can be bothered have a look at this youtube video, woman being sued for selling phones on ebay, all the buyer gets is a picture of the phone, as that is all the woman says she is selling:w00t:

police arent really interested in this mate, you get a crime number and thats about it! i was scammed for 2 grand when i returned to the uk last year with my gf we went and looked at an aprtment 3 times got the keys and contract paid deposit etc then when we went to move in there were 5 other people there.......the police still havnt taken our statements and collected the keys yet. the police are a joke too busy bashing people to solve real crime which needs some investigation/detective work....they could of got them on camera if they had bothered to get the cctv camers afrom the street and got the car reg plate etc

anyway that judge judy thing is pretty funny

Yes if the transaction is reported as unauthorised or the payment funding bounces, eg the bank refuses the DD or it's cancelled HTH.

Your account would go into the red if you'd withdrawn the money before it was reversed
