Have you been naughty?
#2
why did they take your phone? I believe the technology means that they can certainly retrieve all made and recieved calls-texts Im not too sure about
#3
what dont you want them to find....youre obviously worried about something

they can get all call/text records from your phone network without needing your phone

I presume they would be able to look at pics/videos and all records stored on there....unsure about things that have been deleted....theres prob a way to get to it
#4
my first question is why have they taken it? lol
#5
I think all messages are stored for atleast a couple of years on the operators servers.

I could be wrong..
#6
They don't need the phone to get all your old messages and call logs, they're all on the network all they need to do is apply to the police contact dept of the network with you number.
They can get all your texts (in and out) who you called, who called you and where you where at the time.
#7
They can also tell within a couple of miles where you were when you made each call or text
#8
All of that clever stuff they can 'do' yet Bin Laden has been MIA for 8 years or so :)

Don't think he's on a UK network (probably failed the credit check :) )
#11
What they find probably depends on the severity of the situation. I'm sure it'd cost them more resources to get the network to provide them with everything. I'd imagine there's lots of hoops to jump through before they can have all that info.
If it's something minor you've been accused of, they might not go further than just looking through what's stored on there at the moment and skip trying to recover deleted information and applying for the network to send them a dump of all your calls/texts/etc.
#12
hope you haven't done what i think you have done
#13
I think it's just a request from a ranking office after a check for 'probable cause'.
#14
I suggest you get yourself a brief, and if arrested just reply to all questions with "No comment"

Im guessing since you are "worried" that you HAVE actually done something you shouldnt have then? I should imagine how deeply the police go into your phone records will depend on the severity of the alleged offence.

They can find out anything they need too between the phone and the network operators. So if you have something to worry about then you are up the creek without a paddle.

I was hoping you would post, the allegation in money laundering, nouthing to do with kids!

Money Laundering is a serious offence, have you been arrested yet? Source a good brief soon, as the ones allocated by the cops are usually useless, and only answer their questions with no comment, and remember nobody likes a rat.

I was arrested in september and bailed till 10 nov, when i went to the station a was told that the police wernt in the position to question me and i was bailed till 29th jan

mmm sounds like investigations are still ongoing and looking into other areas.

A good brief is a good idea and for going no comment.. not the best of plans if they have hard facts and you say nothing , inferences can be drawn in respect of your silence..

As for no one likes a rat if you can save your skin .. do it .. from all accounts jail aint that much fun
