Yeah it should probably have a specific program most likely PowerDVD.
And I think it will be a Bluray Player not a burner, otherwise your laptop would have cost twice the price!

Best software is PowerDVD or even try VLC player. I use both on mine

i'm getting an error with VLC

VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd://D:\'. Check the log for details.

tried googling it but i can find a simple solution!?

i'll try a dvd next.

does powerdvd do trials?

Yeah sounds pretty damn funky for the price. That GT130M is a good graphics card as well.
