Bad driving kills, not speeding! If it was speeding that killed there would be hundreds of deaths every day.

By that logic no-one should drive a car (or any moving vehicle) because they can still kill people without going over the speed limit.

Speeding causes the bad driving, therefore speeding kills. There is no argument it is a fact.

Faster speed means longer stoping distances, if you are driving 50mph on a 30mph zone and someone steps out, you can kill them because you did not stop in time, maybe if you are driving to 30mph you would have time to stop and if no, you would almost certenly not cause as much damage if you did hit someone.

They are the facts, Speeding Kills, once again there is no argument. If you want to argue then go ahead but you are going to be wrong.

The fact remains you can still kill people while being within the speed limit so it's not the highly simplistic 'end of' statement you make it out to be. I can be legally doing 70mph on various roads and I doubt anyone is going to be surviving an impact at that speed therefore you're just saying 'cars kill' end of

You don't seem to have any clue what you're talking about with bad driving either, there are many factors that can cause it and they aren't all related to speeding so it's not a fact at all. You can easily drive within the speed limit and use your mobile phone which clearly presents a very high risk to other road users.

I'm not advocating speeding in any shape or fashion but making blanket and over simplistic statements are of little value particularly when you entire dismiss the many other non-speed related causes of death with motor vehicles. If speeding is so bad over all these other causes, why has a ten fold increase in speed enforcement over the last ten years not reduced accident figures? And why do roads in Germany with no speed limit have lower fatalities than ours?

and someone steps out? So its their fault firstly for stepping out without checking first, seconded by your fault of driving faster then a speed which is likely to save them.

I may aswell say bleach kills, perfumes kill, food kills, plastic bags kill....incorrect use of anything kills really, but it doesnt make it the fault of the person with their foot down if the person who you are going to kill was the one who stepped out of turn, so to speak.
