doubt i would attend any interview in less than a shirt and tie.

i think even if its a factory based job - a suit is always best, first impressions and all that

Depends on the type of job. If your applying for something like a shop assistant, fast food worker a suit is probably overkill. Shoes, shirt and trousers will be fine.

As above, even a factory job warrants a smart presentation, trousers, shirt. tie, and a smart jacket will suffice. NO jeans. Clean shoes is a must too.
