TV programmes are just as bad

e.g. The secret Millionaire even shows who is getting the money at the very start of the programme. How daft is that!

You could even work out who was getting sacked in The Apprentice a week early as it showed who Sugar was pointing at when he said "you're fired".

I've stopped watching full movie trailers since about 2 years now, as 9 times out of 10 they include the best bits and reveal three quaters of the story, but I'll still watch the odd teaser or risk a full trailer if the running time is under a minute or so, because some trailers do still excite me and give me goosebumps

Up and Toy Story 3 were 2 films in particular where I put a lot of effort into avoiding any spoilers or footage, including closing my eyes and covering my ears at the cinema if the trailer came on, if I couldn't run into the foyer to avoid it! :p

Yep, same here. I avoid the trailer if I definately want to see the film. There have been so many instances where my viewing pleasure has been ruined when I've seen the trailer.

I do however check out movie trailers months in advance. That way, they tend not to have much content so are more of a teaser & also, by the time the film comes out I've forgotten!!

I also avoid trailers. The biggest payoff came with Inception, I saw the teaser last year but avoided all the main trailers and was thankful I did. It would have lessened the impact of the movie had I seen the full trailer (which I watched after seeing it).
