If you've spent all that money on the weekend away then I would say that's probably enough....she will have the necklace to open, and keep, but the weekend is a really nice thing for you both to do and you will take nice photos to remember it by. I think if you buy netbook/kindle as well that might be going over the top; I wouldn't expect a weekend away and a big present, but the necklace is a nice idea.

A netbook is way over the top if you're already going away for the weekend and you've bought her a necklace! Especially if this is a relatively new relationship! Stick to just the necklace and enjoy your weekend!

.......also planning the weekend took a lot of thought and organisation, and I think that counts for a lot too. I think that making a lot of effort to organise something nice is better than just buying an expensive present without giving it much thought (well, mostly!)

is there anything she requires that she doesnt have or you could make it easier for her to carry out a task or routine i.e. in vesting in a camera or hair dryer etc or upgrading to an even better one that she has already got.
i once bought an ex a very expensive professional hair salon hair dryer, she and the sister both fought over it and all her girl mates wanted to use it because it basically worked wonders to hair what ever technology it had, also invested in a better digital camera an expensive panasonic for her nights out which she always had on her and liked snapping everything haha but her bro always tried snipeing it to take movies and play about with. But i went from zero to hero :P and got a sh*tload of brownie points

Like a decent iron or maybe a dishwasher?
#13
yea i would go for that if its goin to make a good improvement i.e. if its lighter, more efficient, gets the job done far quicker etc.
this is the hair dryer i got http://www.t3micro.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65&products_id=259 big difference between that and an ordinary one she had.

lol i actually got rid of her after i got my present, ps3 :P

If you really want to get her something else, why not take loads of pictures while you are away and then do a photobook when you get back so shes got something to remind her of it? Could do a gift certificate sort of thing saying you will be doing it, sort of like an IOU

3 months and ur looking at spending close to 1K on her birthday?

Gotta be careful you don't end up buying her love... There's no need to spend that kinda money for a bday, unless your literally raking it, have a house, car and duno what to do with it.

Woulda left it at the weekend break or necklace.
#24
Once you spend that kinda money it becomes expected and you'l start to get **** off with wasting that kinda money twice a year. Let alone valentines, anniversaries every month like girls these days love to do.

If i want tips on joining the BNP or being racist in general I'll ping you, otherwise jog on troll.

oh and you fail since she's Christian. but if she wanted to convert to Islam and if she wanted to wear the burka in public then i'd respect her decision to express herself in the ways that she wanted.

Oh lawd!
