Didn't they bomb at night during the black out, so here wouldn't be a bus as there'd be no lights?


They bombed during daylight as well but started more night time bombings to reduce the risk to their pilots/planes.

I checked the location on google earth and there's no hole in the road so I'm going to call fake aswell.


You need to go search the archive to google street 1940

Dont know if this is real or fake but have seen some recoloured footage of wartime film in various yesterday channel documentaries.
Adding colour seems to add believeability.
Its certainly not a situation I would want to be placed in.

film from 1903 and 1927, and further photos of londo 1940 were incredible

thanks, followed links and arrived at Harrow & Wealdstone railway crash 1952, parents lived there, talked about in the family,masses of details, fascinating.
