they paid instantly by paypal and their address is confirmed. is there anyway this can be dodgy? i will be sending the phone special delivery etc to be able to track it.

i thought about it being a stolen paypal account but the address on both ebay and paypal are the same. but im guessing its not hard to change it once youve got access to the account?

its your call, I know we have to start some where as to regards to buying on ebay, but to be honest there is too many scams going on with phones.

Was just wondering what the address looked like... is it a detached house... or a flat on top of a chippy?

I always make a point of saying that anyone with less than ten positive feedback must contact before bidding then if I dont like the look of the deal just refund and relist, just not worth the risk

i usually put that in auction listings but i thought puting immediate payment would deter scammers.

I have people just registered to buy items, and those who register 4 years ago with zero feedbacks!!

It happened to me once!!! I have sold a mobile and the person who bought it did not have a feedback and there was a phone number on the address and I have rang the number and women I spoke to did not know the person who bought it and she was shocked and I reported it to eBay and that was it, i needed to re-list it again  so watch what you doing.

ok this seems like a hacked paypal account. the name on the address is not the same as the name on the paypal account. i will contact paypal to let them know of the situation.

thanks for your help guys.

the names dont even seem like they are closely related.
