i havent a little girl but i would never have paid the price for them! i saw them and did think they wouldnt last as the bead would fall off and they wont wash like doodles...dunno how they get such a price for them but i guess there will always be some mums want 'the best' lol
Personaly i think Clarks and Hush puppies are the best but too expensive....i try to buy in the sales..

I have started buying all the kids shoes from the clarks outlet at cheshire oaks, the extra petrol spent is easily covered by the difference in price. :)

are you talking Lelly Kelly, if you are I am amazed, I used to buy them dirt cheap as imports, nobody knew the name but they were pretty......my daughter is 22!!!

I have to admit that my daughters both had a pair in the summer, only because their Grandma bought them though!! We had the sequin ones rather than the beads and I was really impressed with them, although I do refuse to pay the winter prices. Not sure if I'll get any next year, although they do sell for about half price second hand on ebay so if that happened then I would buy some again as I think they're beautiful.

Also, they do wash like Doodles, you just take the leather insole out, pop them in a pillowcase and stick them in the washing machine on a normal wash and they come out like new. I have heard that the beaded ones do come undone but this didn't apply to me as like I said, we had the sequin ones. No doubt I'll get some grief on here for buying them but I like them.

We paid £20 for a pair of boots for our youngest that were priced at £32 at the normal store, its usually at least 1/3 rd cheaper. In september we would have spent over £130 on shoes - cos all four needed them, but we ended up spending about £80, instead.
