I think some simple, classic earrings would be nice?

http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/d/5986265/9ct+gold+15pt+diamond+earrings/ Just over your budget but theyre prob going to be teeny? I personally like plain studs for daytime and those ones are quite pretty :)

(I hate charm bracelets! I just don't see the appeal :-/ )

A nice bit of bling?

Can't stand charm bracelets either, just don't see the appeal.

As above I hate charm bracelets.

This is lovely if you want her to have jewelery to keep for going out and special occasion. http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/d/4927524/oliver+weber+kiss+necklace+and+earrings+set/

If its for everyday wear I would say go for a nice plain gold chain or bracelet or some diamond earrings as above or a eternity ring?

I wouldn't go for a charm bracelet as for the next 10 years she'll be expected to have a new charm for every birthday and Christmas present.
Personally I like watches. To make it special you could have it engraved

I bought the 2nd locket in those links, in the next size down (not on the website anymore, theres only the large and small left) and its really pretty, nice size etc.. The only thing I would say is that the chain was pretty thin and its quite a light feeling locket (wouldnt have paid the full price for it, put it that way).. But overall its really nice :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the idea of classic ear rings as i don't think you can not like them.

I been told about Pandora charm bracelets if i was going to get one. Any feedback on this?

pandoras are lovely, not many people like them though, not sure if h samuel sell them ? i think they do a similar one though.
i dont really rate h samuel tbh
pandoras are really nice and charms are reasonably priced

No H.Samuel don't do them. I bought the voucher from someone on here thinking i'd find something suitable but haven't.

must admit i do think a watch is a nice idea as its nice to have a special one but that you can wear all the time. My mum still wears the one my dad bought her for her 21st birthday!

I would only get a pandora if your mrs actually likes them, has she ever mentioned them? personally I like them but at the moment they are in vogue, they might not be in six months time

Id just leave the charm route alone tbh. Like someone else said, she'll be getting charms for every Birthday and Christmas for the next goodness knows how long! (My Mum once bought a dolphin ornament, then she kept getting all forms of dolphin ornaments etc for the next 10 years or so!) After the first few I think youve well and truly had enough!
Don't they jingle once theres a few charms on too? I hate jewellery that makes a noise.. same as bangles, they really get on my nerves! lol

Your best bet is having a route through her jewellery box to get an idea of what she likes and whats been stuffed away at the bottom and forgotten about.

No, the Mrs hasn't mentioned anything. One of the girls at work recommended.

She is tough to buy for as she doesn't like wearing what a lot of people will have and likes to have unique pieces.

could you not trade it or sell it on and raise some cash for a pandora?

the camilia bracelts in h samuel are very similar to pandora abd u would make it unique with all the different charms to represent different things

I could i suppose. Got 3 weeks to get something. Going to Turkey for her birthday and need a few decent gifts to give her also.
