I have come to the end of an e2save / CPW 12 month cashback deal and all has gone well.

I should have canceled on 4th Sept but forgot so call O2 (CPW) today to cancel and got the usual loyalty team member chat about why leaving etc etc.

Anyway, because i have to still give 30 days notice and I missed the deadline to close the account at the end of the 12 months with no charge - I gave to pay about £10, the offered me this....

12 months free contract - choice of bundles, I think it was 50 mins and 100 test anytime or 750 mins and loads of text off peak for free for a year....

So what is the catch I asked...

No catch, O2 credit my account with £300 now and I am on a £25/month contract for 12 months and if I stay within the bundle no extra charges...and no cashback to claim as its all paid automatically upfront..can't be bad

The lady even told me the exact date to get my cancellation letter into them.

So not bad deal

I will see if they offer me the same next year

Three started off this 12month nophone retention crediting your account deals.

O2 have gotten on the bandwagon, they're good if you don't need a new handset :)
