You need to get the gold content weight and state how many diamonds are included, as the bigger singular diamond, the higher the value. :)

I'd recommend getting it valued at a jeweller but don't expect to sell it for anywhere near that price. :)

Looking forward to the pics.

theres 3 diamonds in total the one in the middle is a half carat the other 2 are 1/4 carats ,

also the band its on is very thick no chance what so ever of snapping it

It's hard to see the ring, as jewellers try and get close up pics and improve the lighting but it looks like a pretty thick ring, so it has a good volume of gold content.

Do you by any chance know the clarity and colour rating of the diamond?

It's pretty hon, but its an engagement ring yes?

I cant imagine giving that up just for a new ring, it'd have so much sentimental value never mind what it cost...

That's the minimum most shops sell...It's worth quite a bit but whether you can sell it for anything near that with the current economy is another matter completely.

How much were you thinking of selling it for?

It doesn't look like that ring at all. :giggle:
For one, the gold content on Tonis ring is a lot more but the individual diamonds are a lot smaller, so it's worth considerably less but is still worth quite a bit.

It's nice ring though and I recommend getting it valued by a professional jewellers

Yeah, but it's not the same, as a one carat single stone ring is rarer, since less than 2% of the diamonds in the world is 1ct or more, so even though the total diamond carat weight equates to the same, it actually isn't. ;-)

I have a lot of experience in jewellery but it's all good, as 3 seperate stones actually looks like more than a single stone, as it covers more area. :)

wow!!! now that ring would be worth a lot...I'll give you a tenner for it...I swear I wouldn't try and make a profit...scouts honour...even though I've never been at scouts. :giggle:

Jokes aside, that's the thing about jewellery, even if it's worth £1000's, it's the sentimental attachment behind it that makes it special and that's worth more than any amount of money.
