For the next 2 weeks, we are donating 20p from every CD, DVD or Game purchased on CD WOW! to a number of organisations currently providing aid to the grief stricken area. This is a very important appeal, and aid organisations have stated that the full extent of the devastation wrought by Cyclone Nargis has yet to be assessed, but over 1.5 million people have been affected. Hopefully together we can make some small difference.

Not a deal as such and i know it will get voted freezing cold, but every bit helps at the moment. So if you have any CD-WOW purchases to make now is the time!

I hate these commercialisations of human disasters. The money you spend will net them just the same profit. The prices are either padded to pay the donation or they do this instead of another (probably) more costly promotion they had planned - except this way they get to tax deduct their promo!. Just send money direct to your charity od choice if that is your want.

It certainly is a healthy tax ploy.

And all this from a company who you'd think needed the money more than Burma do right now. Especially since they never honoured my missing order from their "grey" days last year.

why not just donate money to the DEC here:
http://www.dec.org.uk/
Include gift aid

hang on a minute before you donate....

Shell alone makes £26,000 per second PROFIT. how about all the oil companies donate just a couple of minutes profit to thes causes? rather than us over taxed consumers feel bad and donate?
