Has anyone had any problems with Three the mobile phone company? I am having great problems with their customer services and wondered if anyone else has had similar problems.

They are demanding money from me despite them making a number of mistakes in the information they gave me resulting in my mobile not functioning. Also, the handset I received has had so many technical problems. I could go on and on about them and I am so angry with them!

yeh they messed me about something stupid to. me and my dad got the same phone, same deal same day. Payments were different and deal wasnt what they told me at the start of the year.

AND on my other phone with 3! yep cashback deal! claimed on first day i could to make a claim and received a letter 2 days after final day saying they hadnt received it in time and that i couldnt claim any of the future claims.

I think one of the biggest problems with these call centers(Not just 3) are the simple fact your not talking to anyone english. Its like they act thick and can tell you anything as if you where in their country buying a rug off the street.. Im by no means racist but i think these people give nations bad names.They tell you their written policy a few times, pass you on and then eventually after 2 hours on the phone , they ask you to hold and hang up on you!!!

Yes I'm starting to think that PAYG is the way to go. They told me that the last 6 months of my contract would be £15 per month and then they charged me double. Also they told me my phone would function fine abroad and then it didn't which resulted in me buying a second phone. Then when I complained they said it was all my fault!!!

ive heard alot of people have bad credit ratings from mobile companies. Its so tempting to not pay them when there in the wrong but you get punished in the end.

Cant see how trading standards alow them to opperate like they do.

I've noticed a lot of companies now state in their adverts that they have UK only call centres, which is how it should be.

sounds like alot of the problems come from cashback offers, this was featured on Watchdog one week IIRC, so much fineprint with these sort of offers..

as for me, I was on '3' PAYG for a few years with no probs, and now me and the missus have '3' contracts, again without problems.. we didnt go with any cashback deals though..
