3DS instore pre-order at HMV - can it be cancelled?

I pre-ordered one after trading my DS Lite in for £60ish which went on to a gift card, taking a tenner off as a deposit.

Does anybody know if I can cancel it and get the £10 back on the card?

We'll see...! I just think I'll get a better deal away from HMV, even taking the loss. But then I need to get shot of the HMV card.

If it is non-refundable deposit, yes, it will not be returned to you.

What were the terms & conditions when you placed the deposit, greenfeld?

if you don't know, why did you place the order not knowing what the retail price would be or what you were contracting yourself to?

BFN,

Oh, I knew the prices and was tempted by the excellent DS Lite trade-in price. Also, the double HMV points, which might only equate to a tenner in vouchers.

It probably balances itself out in all honesty.
