Anyway of getting a pic to us..or even a diagram of what shape it is. There might be a pic on the original deal you could point us to

HERE is a link to the actual item and a pic from Amazon. :)

Difficult to explain without using my hands! Not sure if you have ever put any type of tent up before so will assume not

Assuming you are in the garden and have the space...lay the fabric out flat. You can then pull up the dome parts to estimate the lengths of the poles required.

Lay out all the poles next to the tent. With a bit of luck they will be colour coded ?! or sometimes even have tiny numbers on them. If they are the flexible link type they should all be in one piece. To release these you pull out each joint to straighten it. Start with the longest one first, probably top of the dome then work your way round with the others to get the basic shape. Print the picture off and just keep referring to it to work out where the poles go.

Don't know whether this has confused you even more. Hopefully there wil be a far better expert along shorlty. It is a lot easier with 2 people.

Are you going camping this weekend? if not you could get the instructions from the company on Monday

Having Google'd this particular brand of tent I'm now resolute that they gained their name because you require a degree of confidence in assembling it...

Hi iglimpse the link in Syzable post is the actual tent, does that help, I'm still lost....

What part are you lost with...getting it out of the bag? Can you be more specific.

We have a 9 man tent which is a similar shape. Even for the experienced, the first time is always the worst

I can understand the predicament. Getting 6 men out of a bag is probably a monumental task.

I knew I would regret that as soon as I said it............

Not half as monumental as squeezing 'em all in to start with!

1. Lay it out flat on the ground

2. stick in pegs all around the corners so the base is well pegged down
the inner shell has to be put up, whether it be bendy poles you slide thru hoops or you just erect them inside the inner tent.

3. the waterproof covering needs to go on, this will either be set up using bendy poles yet again thru hoops etc or the sheet will just be placed over the inner tent then attached with ropes or guy lines etc
this will be inforced to strenghten it all down and make it all tight.
Also there might be more pegs (as in picture) to make the outer sheet more secure to the elements.

I knew the Cubs then the Scouts would do me justice later in life.
