6 month flat rental - no phoneline - sky?

My mum is moving into a flst which has a phone line but which she wont be taking over. The block appears to have a dish but not her flat, and she doesnt see need for a phone line but would like decent tv channels - her tv has freeview but I would doubt the aerial will be able to get freeview (I stay in same village and we tried a booster but no joy with current aerial). Anyway from what I have seen getting digital aerials installed is expensive and as its not her property she doesnt see why she should upgrade the aerial.

What options does she have that dont cost an arm and a leg? I have a second Sky + box I bought here for her use that she can take with her but can she get that freesat sky thing without a phone line...she is looking for cheapest option, or one thats portable....

Oh yeah, forgot to add, we dont have cable north of Dundee so thats not an option....
Cheers for any advice!

you should be able to get all the free channels on that if it's similar to the Maplin's one.

Q: I already have Sky digital satellite equipment - what else do I need?
A: All you need to gain access to the free channels available on the digital satellite platform is a Freesat from Sky viewing card, which costs just £20. If you’d like to access the interactive services available, you’ll also need a working phone line. To purchase a viewing card please phone Sky on 08448 244 400.

You can get a SKY 4 month package with no contract for £75 and I think £25 for the install as it has no phone line so thats far easier.
