Need to buy a gift for a 6yr old- he's absolutely mad on the KK since watching the film... I've google for stuff related to the KK but looks like there's only DVD's about. budget is £15.

Suggestions appreciated.

karate outfit, should be easy enough to get. Doesn't need to be "Karate Kid" branded.

good idea-great thing for kids to do-altho-its not ACTUALLY karate they do in the latest movie.

its kung fu,yet they still call the movie the karate kid.

budget is £15- his mam took him to a martial arts class for a 'taster' but the school complained he was trying out his moves on fellow pupils...

I've not seen the new one yet but the old one had a school badge for the outfit. If the new one does then maybe pick up a patch too for the outfit too or if simple enough to recreate then do your own?

Well times have changed when I was a lad we all watched the Bruce Lee films and spent all break and lunchtime being Bruce Lee. Its such a shame as it teaches an individual discipline and how to be a better person in my opnion

Get him a copy of the original Karate Kid so he can see how bad the remake is.
Then get him a lego Daniel Larusso for only £19.99!

The Jackie Chan back catalogue on DVD? Should be available pretty cheaply and most are suitable for kids as the action is more choreographed slapstick than bone crunching violence (other than Chan actually breaking his own bones for real).

I'm talking about the older stuff, not the Hollywood era.
