Oh man, my thoughts are with those affected
[mod]#11
Tsunami has hit China............pictures from there look really bad as well.

Haven't heard anything about Japanese fishing fleets but they are really active in the Pacific.
#12
This is really shocking......
[mod]#13
This looking as bad as the Boxing Day Tsunami.

Makes you thankful we live where we do. Can't imagine what those people are going through.

OMG, Thoughts are with all those affected, A big scale catastrophe in epic proportion's, Clearly will have a global impact. Hope the nuclear power plant is ok, If that radiation leaks into the water then it'd be like Chernobyl as well.

Doom's day 21 December 2012?

Is this the start?

More strong aftershocks being felt in Tokyo measuring as high as 7.4-7.8. Largest earthquake to hit the region for 140 years.

Shocking news. The missus told me when I was leaving this morning, but no news available.

Makes everything in the world look trivial! Soooo many extreme disasters.... and seems to be getting worse!

5th largest Earthquake in the world.

Earth must be going through a period of reallignment with all these quakes.

Horrific seeing the wave live on SKY, approaching the houses and the cars trying to flee on the road. :(

car just stopping and must be thinking ''wtf do i do''
[mod]#22
Even worse news now.........they think that the Tsunami is higher than some of the Pacific Islands. Could completely wipe them out. :(

Hawaii will be getting hit very soon.

Crazy.

This earthquake has been measured at 1000 times more powerful than the one that hit New Zealand. Mother nature is a scary beast.

That's very sad, However probably and hopefully a lot less than the tsunami that hit on boxing day, At least they're more prepared.

It's scary stuff looking at the videos. Seeing the water sweep across the landscape and roads just a little bit on with cars driving down..

Just spoke to one of my friends in tokyo and he's ok thankfully. Building shook violently but no one was hurt around him.

Unfortunately, others don't seem to be as lucky. :(
