Wow. That is a massive amount of money!

He is a Quality player - not sure if he is worth that much! I wonder who Man Utd will get to replace him?

Hes a quality player, personally I don't think hes the 'best player' in the world but who is? 80 Milllion quid is a silly amount of money for one player would give them money to keep tevez and buy another young star.

yeah come on utd

£80m transfer fee, BUT have they factored in the £110k a week ON TOP of his wages for Brylcreem/Chip Fat for his greasy cheating bonce????
#8
No way did I ever believe we'd get that much for him......... Messi for £50million maybe

there has been talk of benzema again, i'd happily pay £25 million for him and pocket 55

Thats true he could have been an actor, or a stuntman - he's good at the dramatics.

If he wants to go, they are right to let him go, He will be missed though.

He is not a legend. Legends from recent years are Robson and Cantona

If they sell him they won't win the league next season.

So I hope he does leave.
#16
I didn't realise that Real Madrid (and Barcelona) have their own TV channel and this years deal was worth £175M to Real.

With that sort of income that even outguns all English clubs.

To be honest i think Man U can play just as well without him, but it would make for an interesting season. After all they can now snap up Tevez, who i think is a quality player, and thats who Man U will miss if they don't sign him.

Also football is totally out of hand now like, there needs to be a cap on players wages and transfers

Liverpool came close, but I think they'll drop off. Chelsea look to be making the right noises too.

Ronaldo is key to the way Utd play at the moment. They can't replace him.

Except blues, were trying to scupper the deal with a £5 million bid, plus add ons if man utd don't get relegated, cameron jerome will move to old trafford along with the head groundsman and sullivan and gold will grant all man utd directors, employees, playing staff a free £1k voucher to spend in an ann summers store, oh and a free copy of the sunday sport....

Real are bankrolled by the Spanish government anyway, money has never (and will probably never) be an issue...

£80 million is a lot of money, but it's not enough to buy a replacement.

Utd just sold the league.

Apparently even when he had been out on a mega bender the day before he was still the most hard working in training the next day,

Robbo is a Man Utd Legend
