Going to an 80's fancy dress party in a few weeks, need some ideas for a costume. So far I've come up with.

Indiana Jones
Chewbacca (star wars)
Marty McFly (Back to the future)
Slash (Guns n Roses)

more suggestions please

Went to one a couple of weeks ago as george michael quite easy really got a wig pair of shades and a choose life tee shirt really easy and comfortable!

Basically guys in the 80's wore lots of make up,flowy shirts,bandanas and big hair!!! :D

apart from the bandanas(though music students and wannabe punks still wear them) and flowy shirts not much has changed as thats come back to fashion!

So many teenage and early 20's guys with long hair and male beauty products on these days.

Fashion has a 20-25 year cycle....in the 80's there was a 60's influence,the 90's it was a hippie 70's influence etc etc........you only realise this as you get old..........er!!:oops:

Yeah I feel old just because I miss just styling hair on a night out and wearing a smart shirt and these days its lads with t shirts and jeans on which I find not that smart.

Thats what my 21 year old flatmate does and on the rare occasion he wears a shirt he lifts the collar up and has the top few buttons undone and sometimes wears a chain.
