there are companies and people who convert them we just found a load and a guy i found does them for £10 each :) we hooked the old camcorder to the cinema surround thing and had a good laugh!

are these the same tapes that are used in a Sony camcorder?
I convert mine via my camcorder onto DVD, I am willing to to it for you if they are the same tapes?

Yes it is [or was] a Sony camcorder. How did you convert yours to DVD, cos I think my uncle might have the same [working] camera...

I have the 'jacks' with a scart connection, this plugs into the dvd recorder, simples:thumbsup:

I was going to sugest buing a camera off ebay that will play them
should be cheap enough and cheaper than paying someone to convert them...
and doing it yourself with either a DVD recorder or through your PC

I dont know if it will help op, but i was going to sell this after xmas - sony video 8 Handycam CCD-TR330E.
It comes with all leads, 2 batteries & case.
