Even though its old. I have just seen the post on 1984, and it reminded me off this I saw on myspace:
As i grew up in the 90's this brings back many happy memories :w00t:

Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.
You're a 90's kid if:

You can finish this

You remember watching:
-Doug
-Ren & Stimpy
-Pinky and the Brain

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"

You just cant resist finishing this . . . "Iiiiiiin west philidelphia born and raised . . ." *sings*

You remember;
-Sister Sister
-Kenan and Kel
-Sabrina the teenage witch

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
On a Saturday to watch cartoons.

Supermarket sweep.

You remember reading "Goosebumps".

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school. :)

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence. NOT.

When everything was settled by:

-rock paper scissors.
-turn around, touch the ground...
-ip dip doo the cats got the flu...

When playing 'run outs' was a daily activity.

When we played Hide and go seek until our legs grew numb.

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time.

Sega games.... Sonic!
You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green ranger, were meant to be together. <3

When daytime t.v was all learning stuff for kids, that your parents made you watch if you stayed off school.

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular.

You always wanted to send in a tape to Britain's Funniest Home Videos . . . But never taped anything funny.

You remember watching Home Alone 1, 2 , and 3 . . . And tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"

You remember watching:
-The Magic roundabout
-kipper the dog
-button moon

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool.

You remember those Where's Wally books.

You remember eating thoses biscuit rings with icing on top. [

You remember watching:
-the 1st Batman
-Aladdin
-Ninja Turtles
-3 Ninjas movies.

When starburst were called opalfruits.

If you remember when every thing was "DA BOMB!"

When they made the new lunchables so that you could make pizza AND tacos.

...and even the boys loved steps and spice girls.

You remember boom boxes vs. Cd players.

Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them.

You played and/or collected "Pogs".

Collecting stickers for sticker books.

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere.

Furbies.

You haven't always had a computer, and it was cool to have the Internet.

And Windows 95 was the best.

You watched the original cartoons of Rugrats, Power Rangers, and Ninja Turtles.

Michael Jordan was a king.

When wrestling was good.

YIKES pencils and erasers were the stuff!

You remember when the new Beanie Babies and Talking Elmo were always sold out.

You collected those Beanie Babies.

Carebears.

Gap was the coolest stuff invented.

The old, old £20.

Oasis was the 'new' thing.

You collected all the Troll dolls.

You know what an original Walkman is.

You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch.

You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

You know the Macarena by heart.

"Talk to the hand" . . . Enough said

You always said, "Then why don't you marry it!"

You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace.

You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground.

Before the MySpace frenzy . . .

Before the Internet & text messaging . . .

Before creatives & iPods . . .

Before emos and chavs. . .

Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX . . .

Before Spongebob . . .

When light up trainers were cool.

When everyone wore visors.

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

Caller ID was a new thing.

When everyone had at least one of those little gooey aliens in a pod.

When no-one knew how to get them 'pregnant'.

When we recorded stuff on VCRs.

When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off of our walkman.

When checking out drawing books and that one book about the rainbow fish from the library was THE cool thing to do.

You had slap braclets!

Way back before we realized all this would eventually disappear. Who would have thought you'd miss the 90's so much!?!?!

I was 13 in 1990. Me and my sister performed Ice Ice Baby and The Fresh Prince theme at family gatherings!! Still do on occasions if we feel like showing off :-)

Bring Back Opal Fruits!!!

I still call them that, and they were nicer too - no longer have the yellow one! There is a vending machine in our local hospital that has them labelled as opal fruits, big disappointment when starburst popped out!

We had Pogs. I can remember every one wanted the Chupa Chups slammer, I think it was legendary or something. Oh and when I had my blood taken at the doctors my dad payed me in Pogs.

Other fads, Tazzo's. Can't really remember what you did with them. I just had a folder with them all in.

Football stickers. Got, got, got, need, got, SHINY!

Gogo's. I think they came around again in fad terms but by another name, but they were called Gogo's first time. They were small plastic characters, the aim of the game was to flick it in to your opponents and knock it down. Everyone wanted 'Eggy', he was rather cool.

Football cards, with the statistics. I swapped Muzzy Izzet and got Ronaldo's card. Legend.

All of the above were banned in my school after a short while. We also weren't allowed to play Kissy Chase, British Bulldog or even Football.

TV - Come Outside :)
#30
Come outside - What a great show! The dog was called pippin if i can remember?
#31
Yeah and she had a polka dot plane...

I think the shows followed this kind of structure:

"Oh Pippin, I do wish you wouldn't chew the newspaper! It can be recycled you know.

I have an idea, let's go see how paper is recycled by going to a recycling plant. We'll be environmentally friendly and take the plane.*

[Insert educational recycling facts here]

Well that was fun.

The End."

I remember when the girls in my class cried when Take That broke up, I remember fancying Geri in that Union Jack dress(and I was barely 12 at the time lol)

When Sonic 2 and 3 were released and I spent hours each night playing them, and heres a biggie

When Street Fighter 2 was at its height and you would have arcades with about 30 machines linked up with just that lol.

When everyone in class hanged around the 1 person with a cd player or mobile phone.

When a black and white games handheld was fantastic.

When summer tv was all He Man, Thundercats, James Bond JR, Saved By The Bell, Care Bears etc.
