I was just so shocked to tune into Sky channel 171 and see awful use of language at 6.30pm. I've never complained to Ofcom before, but today I simply had to!

Foul Language at 6.30pm?
I had the misfortune of tuning into channel 171 - MyChannel - on Sky this evening. During the 15 minutes I watched this channel (6.30pm-6.45pm) I witnessed the use of the word "f**k" well over 40 times. The word "s**t" was used at least 10 times. The words "god damn" were used at least once.
The show "clip" was titled "Bill & Todds Drunk Adventure" and showed some American men messing around under the influence. I can only assume the program, titled "Stonecold TV" shows clips of this nature (Bill & Todds Drunk Adventure being just one of them within the 30 minutes)
I have no issue with a program of this low quality being aired later in the evening, when children cannot see it - however I think it was completely out of line to broadcast a television show that contained swearing of this level at 6.30pm - when a large number of children could easily tune in without restriction.
The program did not have a age certificate, I was not requested to enter my PIN to access the content - thus I can only assume tens of thousands of children just watched drunk Americans swear at least 60 times.
I'm sure you'll agree this a massive breach of regulations, showing this kind of foul material at such a family orientated time of the day. What makes it worse is this channel is quite "low" in the Sky channel ordering, and thus very likely to be "browsed to" by any child with access to their Sky television.
WikiPedia suggests that the channel is controlled by InView TV, a UK based operator and licensee of over 50 channels worldwide.
