only one kid, she liked the train but thats always there and a hell of a lot cheaper on normal days. was romney hythe dymnchurch railway. but the actual thomas ride was it pulled forward five meteres or so, and then reversed. and sir topanhat didnt even speak to the kids just stood there.

think if your gonna do it your better going to one of the real size station, rather than dymchurch, was a rip

luckily grandparents paid.

we went on one of these things years ago in peterbough big train it was quite nice but these things are abit of a money spinner as you say you can go on these trains cheaper on other days, + they have all the merchandise all lined up as you leave the train

Agreed. I wasn't that impressed with the value for money on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Thomas the tank engine day I took my kids to.

Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough does Thomas train rides and it's a lovely steam train. My daughter loved it, the price was reasonable and the staff friendly.

Enjoy!

Yeah you should try Thomas World at Drayton Manor, I've heard this is 10 times better than the Days Out With.

The one up this way, didn't even have a ride on Thomas you could only go and look at him sat in the yard
