I've got a miniture Pug thats like eating Twiglets per my Avatar picture.

Anyhow He loves playing ball in the house but won't outdoors?

anyone have any ideas why not?
I'll even open the back door and trick him by chucking his ball out when we are playing and he still sacks it off?? WTF

Have we got any Doggie pyschologists???

Smart dog, he knows he's got a choice, so he chooses indoors;-)

ok so you have a choice to play ball inside a nice dry warm house, or play outside in the cold and wet hmmmm. I would stop the ball games inside for a while.

mine has a similar issue, she is a puppy and would much perfer to wee inside than make the effort to go out and het her paws wet.

dunno but we seem to think the same lol...maybe you are my alter ego:-D

Do you go out with him, I'm sure he would like company out there.

Do you throw it further away? Go outside with him and and then run (getting him to follow you) after the stick - maybe its too far away for him to see. Maybe he doesn't like to get his paws wet, my dog won't go outside when its raining because she doesn't like getting wet.

No i'm taking all the time, sunny or wet

although he does do a dance on the patio for ten minutes when its been raining before he eventually ventures onto the wet grass which is rather funny
