hi, could anyone recommend a good diet that works other than weight watchers, been trying to lose weight and tryed weight watchers but its not for me, do diet pills work and if yes which ones ?
please........
has anyone tryed lipotrim ?

Hi I'm the opposite just cant put it on but have a friend who has battled with her weight and tried various diets,she recently got some tablets off ebay,another gimmick i thought but she has lost almost 3 stone,apparently theyre herbal,called hoodia or something very similar

good luck you can chuck a few stone my way if you dont want it!

I have lost over 3 stones in a year on the slimming world diet and to stay at taget i take a supplement called L-Carnitine from holand and barrett its just a once aday thing it helps the way the body burns fat metabilsm. Slimming world is a very easy eating plan to follow and unlike ww u will never ever feel hungry or deprived hth xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

never tryed slimming world thought it seemed complicated ,.

The best diet is a balanced one, that meets the individuals dietary needs (ie not too high in calories)

Even just 100 calories every day above the individuals needs can lead to weight gain (I forget how much exactly, my Nutrition lecture notes are boxed up).

And don't go on a restrictive diet, even though they may look like they are working, they are more often than not given up soon after, and the individual will get back to where they started.

When im cutting i use l-carnitine along with extremely low fat diet and intense bursts of cardio exercise, the weight flies off in days. get it off ebay tho not holland and barret rip off

slimming world - you never go hungry as you can eat "free food" as much as you like. its simple to follow and you can have treats in the form of "sins" every day ......trust me it works:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

its really easy once u get the basics just give it a try all i will say about quick fix diets is initally u will lose weight quick but once u start eating like b4 u will gain wot u lost and more i have been at target weight now for 4 years , anyways goodluck xxxxxxxxxxxx

Less of the dieting....more of the exercising. Walk everywhere, take the stairs, dance around the lounge.....as long as you burn off more than you're eating you get fitter and slimmer. Diet pills may work short term but what havoc are they playing with your body? Good tip from my doctor.....spicy food speeds up the metabolism!!!

Avoid low cal drinks too....yuck!

Try green tea roselee. A friend of mine drank it combined with some exercise and it worked wonders.

Apparently it supresses your appetite

Tried Atkins and it worked for the short term, but i then used Slimming World and as everyone else has said, it works and you can eat just need to be organised with buying food. Not a quick diet few lbs each week but they stay off, would recommend to anyone and you can eat anything occasionally for a treat.

I highly recommend slimming world - give it a go!

I have been with them for nearly 2 months and have lost over a stone and it's quite easy

Check out my thread here to give you an idea.

I lost a stone just by cutting out bread & potatoes & drinking more water.
I do still have them, just as a treat though. (Bovril on toast on a saturday morn - yum!)
I cut down on snacks too and swapped crisps for snack-a-jacks.

Cambridge diet worked for me, lost 4 stone and still havent put it back on :thumbsup:

what is the cambridge diet please.
i am 5.2 1/2 , weighing 9 stone 13, i look like a flump :cry:
i would love to loose 1 and a half stone,
I have tried slimming world and gained weight :x
weight watchers worked well but takes far to long.
i do exercise, but find it hard with 4 kids and a full time job to stick to any regular routine.
please let me know if you have tried anything in the past or at present that works,
i would be very very interested thankyou!!!!:thumbsup:
